Just to take you back a bit the 1950s had some beautiful songs and also some loathsome ones such as
Teddy Johnson and Peal Carr!

"Theres a bird on the branch theres a branch on the tree theres a tree in the meadow
that belongs to you and me

It was called Tweet, tweet tweet Little Birdy! (There was some soldier stationed in Singapore who would request it for his mom or his girl friend over Two Way family favorites! Always with the message 'thanks mom for the cake it was lovely!)

'You should be kind to us normals, there are not many of us left you know'!

Ebony And Ivory . I like Stevie Wonder, but I am not a fan of Paul McCartney post Beatles and I couldn't stand this patronising song. Don't get me wrong,I have nothing against black and white people working together in happiness, but let these things happen naturally and not have some condescending song lecturing us.
Anything by Donovan!(the poor man's Bob Dylan)
Anything by Queen (I am sorry, but I just feel they were over rated)
The Birdy Song by the Twats......
All of the novelty song listed in previous posts.
Anything by Mario Lanza!
The Donkey Serenade.
Ta Ta
Marky B

I am special. The heavens always open for me.

I just wish he'd PACK it in. Perhaps, out of the goodness of our HEARTS, we should CLUB together and give him money to buy a SPADE so he could take up gardening ..... that would be ACE.

I cannot abide 'Don't worry, be happy' either!

One Artiste whom I do have some early stuff but no longer play is Mariah Carey, I went off her when she became a "I don't do Stairs" type Diva
