Default Novelty Recording Artistes

David Seville and The Chipmunks
The Singing Dogs
Ray Stevens (The Streak) this record got on my nerves after a few hearings it sounded like the soundtrack of a Hanna Barbera cartoon also hated his Bridget The Midget, didnt he record a novelty number called something like Ahab The Arab which I think was covered by Jimmy Saville.

Father Abraham and the Smurfs
Chris Hill and his Renta Santa singles
Rick Dees and His Cast of Idiots Disco Duck
Napoleon Fourteenth Coming To TaKe ME Away

Benny Hill did very well with his novelty numbers

Gather in the Mushrooms
Transistor Radio
Harvest of Love
Ernie (They won't forget Hernie!)

As an aside, one of Joe Meek's bands, The Packabeats, used to do a version of Harvest of Love in their act.
Quite bizarre, that!
