Default Cars of the Stars

Most of you will know of this place but its new to me if anyone is interested......

Disadvantages: no photography allowed

This museum first opened in May 1989 and the idea for this attraction was the result of Granada Television approaching a dentist called Peter Nelson. Granada wanted to borrow Peter Nelson’s MG TC car, for use in the television series “The Spoils Of War”
The museum is as the name suggests…cars of the Stars, and there are many cars of famous films and TV programmes.

The Cars of the Stars Museum is situated in Keswick in the Lake District. Once you are in Keswick The cars of the Stars Museum is sign posted, so you should have no problem in finding it, but…. We arrived in Keswick about 10 am and the car park closest to the museum was full, as we ventured round the one way system, the next car park was also virtually full, so be prepared to wait for your space!
Keswick is not a big place, so wherever you land, the walk to the cars of the stars museum is not

Great Museum for Car lovers!........seeing 'Fab 1' made my day being a lifelong Thunderbirds lover, it's a pity about no photos, plus it's a little dark in there (to help preserve the Beauty's no doubt)

Great to see the Batmobile too!
