Default Final Whistle For 'Shoot!'
Some very sad news.
The final edition of the football magazine Shoot! is being published this week.

I was once a regular reader of the paper and used to look forward to collecting the free league tables and team stubs that used to be given away with issues before the start of every new season.
I used to keep my charts up to date at the end of each weekend of football.


Shoot! was once Britain's top selling football magazine.
So sad that it will soon be just a happy memory for me and many other football fans.

Sorry to hear of that.However the wall chart brings back memories of sitting down on sunday morning with the paper and adjusting the wall chart accordingly.

Sad news for those us who used to get 'Shoot' as youngsters, but to be honest, I saw a 'modern' copy recently and it was pretty dire. It had none of the features from the 'classic' version and was pretty charmless and in your face. RIP 'Shoot'.
