I think some of mine would be more called 'clips' rather than videos.

Where The Street Have No Name - U2. I think the boys had spent most the day in the pub! Just look at the state of Bono.

There's a lot of dignity in that, isn't there? Going out like a raspberry ripple.

Hi Harley,

I'm pretty sure that's Clare Torry (aka Clare Torrey) and one of the others is Durga McBroom.

Interesting track . First time they'd ever used a female lead vocalist. Originally brought in by Alan Parsons during the mixing stages of Dark Side Of The Moon. Rumour has it that she nailed the whole thing in one take

It was originally written by Rick Wright as a "Mortality Sequence" to be rendered as a piano solo about death.

Clare later sued over the composition rights and won.

Roger Waters usually uses Katie Kissoon and Tessa Niles and, on occasion, Sam Brown

I've dug out this interview with Clare which I hope you enjoy

Rogers version of "Mother", with Ms Kissoon is here.
A voice that could melt a statue

Enjoy

Default Talking Heads:Nothing But Flowers

I really love this from the 1988 "Naked" album. See if you can spot the late Kirsty McColl in the opening sequence and again later:

I don't think the singer on that video is the same one that sang on the album. Similar, but not quite the same

Thanks Steve.

I know Bianca Antoinette toured with them around that time but it wasn't her. Doesn't look like her and she only did the Australian leg of the tour.

I e-mailed a mate of mine from way back who is a "Floyd Oracle" and still works in the bizz.

He sent me this from his concert database..............

Maybe Harley can confirm that was the right date, although I think they only played at versailles once.

Hats off Steve, you were spot on:-

Btw, on a trivial note ,Clare Torry states that she was paid £30 for the vocals she laid down at Abbey road in 1975 (it was double time for a Sunday) and given two tickets for the Earls Court gig

For me it has to be the Massive Attack videos. They're works of art and mini Brit films in their own right. The music's fantastic too!

This first one is heartbreaking

And this one is technically brilliant, all done in one tracking shot
