I have a few favourites but the most recent one has to be 'Here It Goes Again' by OK GO showing the band doing a dance routine on exercise machines.

I featured the clip on the Forum just after it was released - and I still have not got tired of watching it.

Dave.

A couple from The Rolling Stones Waiting On A Friend which is great in its simplicity.

And Undercover of the Night directed by Julien Temple which was much banned at the time.

Johnny Cash's "Hurt", not for the cinematography but sentiment and imagery.
The Chems "Let Forever Be" as it's a Gondry masterpiece.
The Specials "Ghost Town" because they're ace, and few records perfectly capture a time.

Japan - Life in Tokyo

What many won't understand at this remove is that this clip is from several years before the New Romantic boom, and the band were incredibly unfashionable and widely mocked. Not a classic video as such, but the band themselves are so striking looking that you can't stop watching.

Takes me back.
Avant garde stuff along similar lines to the Psychadelic Furs and early Ultravox with Jon Foxx as lead singer.
Alarmingly similar in looks to Nick Rhodes in that one, even though I understand Sylvian was a big fan of Ferry in his early Roxy years.
'Red guitar' highlights this attribute better.

Brilliant song nevertheless.

Duran Duran were big fans of Japan, and I'd imagine would be the first to admit they took there visual image straight from the band, and even some of their early soind - Planet Earth sounds quite a bit like Life in Tokyo. They even asked Japan to produce their first album.
