Leo G Carroll
Michael Rennie
Jeanette Scott

All name checked with their SF film appearances in Science Fiction Double Feature by Richard O'Brien from The Rocky Horror Show. Another song from the show also mentions Fay Wray.

"Rambling Jack Elliott," by sixties folksters The John Herald Band.

"George Jackson," and "Joey," by Dylan.

A sliightly off the wall track is a song called ,"Norman Normal" by Peter Paul and Mary, the song starts with chit chat at a party with hip young things name dropping singers and writers who were flavour of the month, in 1966 I cant make many of the names out but I can clearly hear the name of singer-songwriter Fred Neil.

On their 1978 reunion album Mary Travers name checks Norman Mailer on a toe curlingly embarassing song called, "Miss Rheingold." not their finest hour.

Indeed there are.

Lennon penned one entitled "God" on the rather stark "John Lennon" album. He then went on to mention his son, Sean, in "Beautiful Boy" which he dedicated to him. Evidently he wrote it while the two of them were on holiday together
