Tim Buckley & also his son Jeff, I wonder what a duet from these two would have been like, an unbeleivably tragic story for this family.
Two very fine artistes IMHO

I accidently recorded Jacques Brel on a late night Portugese radio station in 1989 singing a live version record of Amsterdam. It was terrific and it was years before I knew who it was singing. Co-incidently a colleague at work happen to mention him being one of his favourites and so lent me some recordings and the mystery was solved.

I can just imagine him and film stars of the day dressed in tailored casual wear chain smoking Gauloise fags and drinking Pernod and water at some huge pavement cafe in a jet setting 1960s Riviera resort, with a sax player giving it all he'd got (long before the oiks invaded from the UK with their plasticky yahts, tattoed loud girlfriends and penchant for being totally undignified).

AFAIK only Brian Connolly is dead. Andy Scott tours with Andy Scott's Sweet and there is also Sweet 2 with one of the others, the camp bass player I think.
