Also Chris Cazenove and Simon Ward were in the Judge Deed series.

There was a good strong cast of familiar faces including Dai Bradley and a young Phil Daniels.

Not as good as Zulu, but a good film nevertheless.

I thought that was you in the back row engaging with the busty blond bird wearing the mini skirt and boots.

Great result though mate. Aldershot ran riot in the first half. They look a very good young team.

Get well soon.

Great Weekend for 'the Gas', my second team due to a fanatical Rovers supporting friend of ours...........

Talking of Sky Sports and Le Tiss, what about the 'Merse'? Just after half time at the Valley, 'There's no way Watford are going to get back in this game Geoff.....'
2-0 becomes 2-2 in 90 seconds........

Good one Merse........................

The FA Cup 6th Round Draw ....

Sheffield United or Middlesbrough v Cardiff
Manchester United v Portsmouth
Bristol Rovers v West Brom
Barnsley v Chelsea

What a great draw .... another Premiership side will be out and at least one team from outside the top flight definitely in the semi-finals.

A tricky tie for my boys at Barnsley though ....

ps - Happy Birthday to Sir Bobby Robson, 75 today.

Rafa is King! - just for now anyway.

Great victory for Liverpool against Inter.
Even though Inter were down to 10 men I still felt that Liverpool had their measure.

It will be difficult for the Italians to score three in the return leg, especially if the REAL Liverpool turn up on the night.

Fingers crossed that the Arsenal can also see off that other Milan team.

Another exciting night of football ahead.

Dave.

Busty blonde I miss all the fun Yes we look great going forward and recently have looked more solid at the back, Garry Waddock has done an amazing job with a very tight budget and small squad. I will be savouring this shortly with a DVD winging its way to Harbottle Towers. Thanks for the best wishes, only just recovering here been bedridden with this horrid bug

Arsenal were all over AC Milan, yet just couldn't get that vital goal.

Some great football from the Gooners though, a joy to watch at times.
I hope they can turn it on again in the return leg.

Good result for Man.U too.

Celtic put up a good fight but were eventually outclassed.

Latest news from the Lyon v. Man U. game is that some French lout in the crowd targeted Ronaldo with a laser pen.

The laser was shone at Ronaldo during the warm up period and during parts of the game.

United are to make a complaint to UEFA.

What is the game coming to?

Dave.

Milan hardly got out of second gear! The sweeper won nearly everything at the back and if he didn't, the keeper made it look easy. AC looked more dangerous when they went forward. Kaka is class.

The only real chance was the last one by Adebayor, open goal, they will rue that miss. The ref was wrong over the penalty decision, you could see it at the time. Why wasn't Walcott brought on until the 89th minute? He skinned the full back with his only run at him. Has to start the second leg, his pace will stretch them.

How come no one apart from me has mentioned Chelski's great result in Greece. The boys are being ignored but are still in all 4 competitions and with a fair crack of winning any one of them.

Default I Remember Chelsea

Well Bats,
I for one (and as a Liverpool supporter it pains me to say this) have to admire Grant's unheralded and quiet rebuilding of brand Chelski.
They have a mean defence and grind out results consistently.
I think no longer being touted as likely to win everything in sight will actually work in their favour as they aim to upstage Utd and Arsenal at home and in Europe.
It's turning into quite a run-in on all fronts....

This is so sad ....

Gascoigne arrested and sectioned

Ex-footballer Paul Gascoigne has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act, according to sources. He was detained after officers were called to a hotel in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.A Northumbria Police spokesman said: 'Police attended the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead yesterday evening after we received a report of concern for a 40-year-old man staying at the hotel. 'The man was detained under the Mental Health Act and no one was injured during the incident.' Gascoigne has had a troubled history of emotional instability and erratic behaviour.
