Dave Mackay broke the same leg twice. First against Man U at Old Trafford in a Europan tie and the second time at home to Shrewsbury Town reserves. He then came back to lift the FA Cup as Captain for Spurs against Chelsea in 1967.

What a great player!

Mackay wasn't a bad manager either. He led Derby to the First Division Championship in season 1974-75.

If anyone is able to post a clip of William Gallas tantrum at Birmingham last week I would be much obliged .... I am very disappointed that I missed it. I couldn't find it on youtube.
I wish I had claws.

And, I believe, the biggest selling photo among Spurs fans.

I seem to recall it was Dave MacKay's comeback match after breaking his leg and Bremner had had a go at him more than once before DM told him with great clarity what would happen if he tried it again. Even Bremner wasn't stupid enugh to try it again against probably the hardest man in British football.

I cannot find a clip yet Bats but I can tell you what happened.
Gallas was so upset at the needless penalty being given away that he stormed off towards the tunnel before the penalty was taken.
He then had to be restrained as he aimed a kick or two at an advertising board.
After the final whistle he sat down on the pitch by himself and appeared to be crying. He seemed to sit there for ages before he was encouraged to get up and leave the pitch.
He really took the loss of the two points very badly.
The question now being asked is whether Gallas has the right temperament to be the Arsenal skipper.
