I was a medium-pace swing bowler at school and have always considered cricket a great game to play but (depending on the wicket) a dull game to watch. It did give me one abiding pleasing school memory; hitting a hated school 'friend' in the head with a (accidental) beamer.

No rush at all. I think cricket is a great game - to watch
It's a silly game to play. That ball's very hard and it hurts when it hits you.
But watching a game when you're sitting back on your deckchair, a cool drink, some good company, lovely

Steve

For about 25 years i used to Umpire cricket for my old boys club.Sometimes it would bore the pants off me.My back used to ache after standing up for the best part of 6 hours. No wonder that i now have a bad back. Now lets get this thread back to something important such as the Champions League draw.

Great Champions League draw .....

Arsenal v Liverpool
Roma v Manchester United
Schalke 04 v Barcelona
Fenerbahce v Chelsea

Semi-finals
Arsenal/Liverpool v Fenerbahce/Chelsea
Schalke 04/Barcelona v Roma/Manchester United

Quarter-finals ties will be played on April 1st/2nd and 8th/9th. Semi-finals on April 22nd/23rd and 29th/30th. Final in Moscow on May 21st.

Come on The Arse .... I don't think I could cope with another semi-final v Ricky's Boys! That is, of course, if Chelski beat Fenerbahce.

Don't miss out on a chance to win a rare film in Bat-Quiz 13 closing date - 31/8/8.

It's definitely another interesting draw , unfortunately United have drawn Roma again
It is the draw we didn't want from a fans safety point of view ,I just hope the Italians ease up on the violence
( the italian police that is )

I May be getting older ,but I refuse to grow up

Roma and then maybe Barca.
Tough for United but I do not think that they should feel afraid of any team.
They should know Roma inside out by now.
Barca are missing Messi and quite beatable.

Anyone for an Arsenal v. Man.U. final?

Dave.
