Anyone for an Arsenal v. Man.U. final?

Dave.
I don't want to tempt fate with a forecast including the success of my own team ,so I won't .
I think any players who express any thoughts regarding, Doubles , Trebles, or how good their team is should be fined ,and only allowed to talk about the game they've just played in .

I was in Istanbul a couple of years ago with some Turkish friends ,and was taken to see Fenerbahce play Shalke 04 ,It was an amazing experience in a very intimidating atmosphere which ended in a 3-3 result .
Before the draw was made my friends who have contacts in Russia were sounding me out about a visit to Moscow for the final .How spooky would that be if Fenerbahce were to play Shalke ?

I May be getting older ,but I refuse to grow up

I am glad everyone's ignoring Chelski .... the team who have conceded fewer goals than anyone else in the competition and who remain unbeaten.

They are also well placed in the Premiership .... only 5 points behind The Arse with a game in hand with both of their main rivals visiting The Bridge over the next few weeks.

As the Pointer Sister once said ..... I'm So Excited!

Make that 3pts behind both The Arse and ManUSA with a game in hand on The Gunners.

With reference to my previous post Bats , don't count your chickens , statistics mean nothing until the end of the competition , and then only if you've won

I never count my chickens smiffy (between you and me I don't think we've got a cat in hell's chance) but one has to keep thinking positively ..... as Avram says 'if you don't believe you might as well give up'.

Why does the broadcaster on ITV tell us before the football results come on to look away if we don't want to know the results and then she proceeds to read them out?

Especially when you remember that Wales is the smallest country in the 6 nations championship, and that the main rugby playing area of Wales is only a tiny part of South Wales. That small strip of about 60 miles by 10 miles known as "The Valleys". Much of the principality supports the rugby team, especially when they're winning. But even when they're struggling, as they have done in recent years, they are very well supported. Travelling around most of Wales you're much more likely to see rugby pitches than pitches for that other variation of football which isn't really generally as popular.

The French yesterday were playing against 15 men on the pitch, but backed up by 70,000 or so in the crowd. And when they're in full voice the Welsh supporters can be an impressive opposition
