There's a lot of dignity in that, isn't there? Going out like a raspberry ripple.

On the ongoing topic of dodgy referees, can anyone explain how the Dutch ref missed Kuyt's foul on Hleb?
A penalty to Arsenal surely.
The ref was standing right behind the players yet didn't see what appeared a clear foul.

Another bad decision in a vital game.

Dave.

The Chelski result was OK .... they are beatable at The Bridge. We should have been about 4 up by the time they equalised!

On 5 live radio, Arsene Wenger just managed to stop himself offering the opinion that the referee didn't give the pen because he WAS Dutch

I May be getting older ,but I refuse to grow up

Sky Sports News just revealed that the ref lives 5 miles from Kuyt's home village!

And did you see Kuyt's to the ref ..... will it become as notorious as Ronaldo's World Cup ?

I wish I had claws.

I do not think anyone would rate Phil Neville as anything other than an average player.
Yet I read yesterday that Phil has just moved into a 4 Million pound mansion.

If players pay was gauged by their level of talent then most footballers today would be broke.
How much is Titus Bramble receiving?

Dave.

It just proves that with a good agent, and an incredibly generous employer -Messrs. Ballack and Shevchenko both of whom are way past their sell-by date can command an equally outrageous salary.
