Is that how both of our teams can explain the debacle of Seba Veron!

Possibly, we bought him when he had a lofty reputation and he was only 26. Ranieri saw something in him and made your new benefactor cough up £14million quid- a bargain in comparison to the fee we paid!!
Ferguson said that sometimes he was capable of exceptional football, and he was, just not as often as one would have hoped. He's the only player I've ever seen that could dig out a 60 yard pass with the ouside of his boot.
During the pre-match warm up him and Beckham treated us to their range of passing skills and tecnique,in what was nothing more than glorified football tennis.
I just think he was more suite to the Serie A style of football.
How he kept Fernando Redondo out of the Argentine national team has always been a mystery to me.

A great result for Chelski today ... no, not the win at Man City (although that was OK) ... the 1-1 between the Arse and The Jolly Scousers. If only 'Boro can get something out of Man USA ... some hope there!

Glad to see my tenner is still safe as well - come on Pompey!

I'm very happy, wasn't expecting Arsene to prioritize the CL with points up for grabs it the title chase.

The Swans promotion was put on hold today as they lost......Oh !! What a shame that is.

There's a lot of dignity in that, isn't there? Going out like a raspberry ripple.

Old Avram won't be too upset about fixture congestion now I'll bet
Points on the board are always better than games in hand

The cup dream was not to be for West Brom.
They certainly put up a good performance but just couldn't score.

The Pompey goal certainly involved a clear handball from Baros, which the officals missed.

Let's hope Albion can make up for the cup disappointment with automatic promotion to the Premiership.

Dave.

Avram will soon find something else to moan about .... I reckon he's been taking lessons from Fergie!

This quote made me chuckle .....

"Gary Neville is the club captain but has been injured for the best part of a year now - and Giggsy's taken on the mantlepiece" - Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand

ps .... great result for Chelski at the Riverside today .... it really is squeaky bum time!

pps .... Congratulations Cardiff!

In with a real chance now if you beat them at home, and Blackburn away won't be easy for them either. Be funny if Arsenal lose on Tuesday then win at OT; be seriously kicking themselves.

There are - check out Arsenal's remaining games. Apart from Man.U. Arsenal could easily and should win their last four games.
