The two penalty decisions over the two legs were a disgrace. Babbel could not believe his luck, he virtually through himself onto the ground. If I was a Gooner I would feel very aggrieved, thankfully I'm not.

On the other hand The Arse have never been a European side, unlike The Pool. Will Avram cock it up again? Probably!

Poor ol' Avram ..... 3 or 4 mistakes in 30+ games and he gets it in the neck. It's a pity they don't judge players the same.

How many mistakes a game does Gilberto make every game at The Arse Ithe Ginger Gooner says he has yet to see Gilberto complete two passes in a row) .... or Anton Ferdinand at West Ham, hardly anyone one comments on those sort of mistakes. Ferdinand's incompetence has cost the Hammers many goals this season and some people still tout him for an England spot.

Come on Avram .... confound your critics and dump the Jolly Scousers on their derriere!

It could be very different this time .... the 2nd leg is at The Bridge.

Carrick has been exceptional since the turn of the year and, privately, he is entitled to be aggrieved by his omission from Fabio Capello's last squad. The former Tottenham midfielder, about as close to Glenn Hoddle in terms of style as any player of the last 10 years,

Comedy time down at Jolly Scousers HQ. Amazing we're still focused on the footy with all the major players at war - from what I gather Gillett doesn't like Rafa and Hicks, Hicks dislikes Parry and Gillett, Rafa hates Parry, and Parry hates them all!

Surprised, but pleased to see Rangers do well.

Must have been the green hoops that inspired them.....

Let's hope they can go all the way and lay some celtic ghosts....

...............Come on you Jocks!!

If you think that's bad check out what's happening at Barcelona.
Half the squad do not get on with the other half. Some players are even refusing to train or take orders from the manager.

Dave.

The chief culprits are (allegedly) Ronaldinho and the odious Deco ..... thank goodness he didn't end up at Chelski!
