Yeah Bats,
I saw this recently from another Liverpool fan. A shame it was made public. I don't believe we have a right to know everybody's salary, just because they are in the public eye. As relative unknowns the rest of us don't broadcast our wages so it's just nosyness really!
I am a fan of Riise due to his work rate, fearlessness and occasional explosive shots but over the last 18 months or so his game has somehow crumbled. I know he had financial problems anyway but it's a bit puzzling.....

I read that he is involved in a long running court battle in Norway to get some of the money his agent 'invested' for him back. There was a dodgy hotel deal and other such shenanigans. It must be very stressful for him and consequently his central nervous system may be really tight. It could have an effect on his performances.

Re wages .... a long list of players wages was published recently in a financial magazine so Riise isn't alone in having his wages exposed.

I think there is still a chance for Arsenal yes,they have been known to score late so maybe they will nip it at the post, maybe the others will slip up,still a few games to go you know!!


Not a supporter of them but given a choice to who I would support and (other than my own team that is ) out of those I would go for Arsenal to win the title.

Leeds Utd..........Not in the Premier League I know (not yet anyway but we will get back there for sure ) so no bias there.

That points thing is a difficult one. If the points were given back wouldn't that affect the promotion chances of teams already in the play-off/automatic spots?
I know it's not Leeds fault, but surely that isn't fair? The FL have sure made a balls up of that one. I think they should let who ever finishes out of the promo spots or misses out completely have a crack at the play-offs.
