I'm one of those Chelsea fans who like to see Fulham do well, when Chelsea and Fulham meet I think it's possibly one of the less inflammatory derbies that happens around the country. My father who was a North Londoner would go to Spurs and Arsenal matches and when they met would hope for a draw, don't see much of that nowadays.

It's a shame Fulham dispensed with Chris Coleman's services I always thought he was doing well for the club.

I have always had a soft spot for Fulham since they reached the Cup Final in the 70s and also for the Moore/Best/Marsh years .... they played footbal with a smile. I bet whoever made the decision to get rid of CC is regretting it now. Sanchez was a disaster and Hodgson hasn't really had enough time to sort out the mess and get results at the same time.

Changing the subject a little I am finding it incredible that Sven's position is under threat at Man City. He has turned relegation fodder into a half decent team in double quick time and that still isn't enough for the money men.

I remember the story Ralph McTell says. He's a Fulham fan and at a match one of their players got injured just near where RM and other fans were standing. All the other players ran over and stood around the injured player looking at him. Somebody from the crowd shouted

"Don't just stand there Fulham, practise"

regards
Freddy

Having watched the game against Balckburn on Saturday in the Pub, the highlight of a very entertaining game was when one of the locals -a 60 odd year old bloke- attempted a brake dance like swivell on the floor when Blackburn scored.
Chelsea are not that unpopular as there are still a lot of ABU's out there alive and well and willing to express almost child-like resentment towards Sir Ferg and his team.

In comparison to United, Chelsea have the advantage of a day's rest before the crunch game at OT and after it before their second leg semi with Liverpool. This leaves United effectively playing three high profile games in six days, with Chelsea playing their quota in eight.
Could be a significant factor. More twists and turns to come.
We're a long way from hearing Montserrat Caballe do the honours.

The money men and the Fans Bats .
I haven't met a City fan yet who doesn't want Sven out There was a time when beating united home and away would have been enough success for 10 years, but now they are having delusions of grandeur.

I think Thaksin was expecting to do a Chelski ,without the special one and with a fraction of the resources. These money men may have fortunes but they know less about OUR game than the average man ( or woman ) in the stands

I May be getting older ,but I refuse to grow up

I recall watching a schools cup match many years ago when the home team were 1-4 down with less than five minutes to play - they were unlucky not to win 5-4 as they had a goal disallowed with the last kick of the match.

Won the replay away 3-0.

All the best

Surely Gerrard is not going to go to Chelsea.
Maybe it's a vile rumour orchestrated by the Blues to unsettle Liverpool in tonights big game.

Dave.

If he moves anywhere he will, like Steve MacManaman before him, go abroad.

It wasn't a vile rumour when Gerrard agreed the move a couple of years ago. Terms etc had been agreed, if they had lost that CL final he would be at the Bridge now! Instead, we got Steve Sidwell!

"I think it rhymes with clucking bell"

Oddly enough I'm not despondent. Now it's over to those nice boys from Manchester to give Chelsea a tough game whilst we put our feet up against Brum.
