Unfortunately Orphs , It looks like the money men are moving in . I don't think Wenger will be under threat , I am sure he will be seen as a major asset the same way the Glazers saw Fergie .
The stumbling block may be whether Wenger can work with them ,as I see it he always had unswerving support from the old board ,If he were to become disillusioned I am sure the offers would flood in .

The current Visa application is rather stringent and laborious
Some of the questions are ,Countries visited in the last 10 yrs (If they are looked upon unfavourably you may not gain entry) Last two jobs , and whether you have been involved in active warfare , Knowingly or unknowingly
I think an evening in the local is looking favourite

Oh, you can't say you're surprised that the hired hands did what they were told?? They wouldn't be hired as 'Independent arbitrators' a second time, would they?? Nice work....so the arbitrary punishment voted for solely by all our rivals for flouting a rule that does not exist in the rule book stands. And we get criticised for delaying an appeal - for three weeks - while it takes the FL seven months to ratify the decision. Genius. The words piss-up and brewery spring to mind...

I have to say that i never liked Edelman.whenever i wrote to Hill Wood i got a smarmy letter back from Edelman telling me how much they had in the bank.Trouble is that under the loan agreement they have to keep most of that there.I happen to know Ken Friar very well, and get on with him quite well.Although he is only there as a stop gap he is a far more approachable figure than Edelman.Anyway time will tell as to what happens.

Quick...get yourself a job, any job, working at Chelsea.

Word is that Abramovic has promised to take all of the Chelsea back room and ground staff, including the cleaning ladies, to Moscow for the Champions League final. He has said that he will ensure that they all receive the necessary visas.

Isn't it great to have money and influence?

Dave.

Just like to say sorry to all the Leicester fans on here....sorry that we didn't get rid of that bald headed, rat-faced sneak Holloway earlier. I would have like to have been all sympathetic about your relegation but as an Argyle fan of many years standing I was sickened by the gloating and snide comments by a number of your "fans" who assumed some form natural superiority for themselves when Holloway left us for you. A bigger club. Not for the next year at least.

For all of us fans of smaller clubs who don't get to argue about international status and games with different time zones these things mean a lot. I hope that the BBC drop Holloways coloumn now, too. Bitter, me? Not now, I'm not!

Orphs, what's the Elvis song all about? Did you have one of those pre-match music fan polls?

Now it's the end of season let's hope all laps of honour and climbing the steps to accept the trophy are performed by the footballers only. No carrying babes in arms or sons and daughters accompanying them round the pitich. I think it was a trend started by Dennis Wise, children should be like mobile phones, you leave them with the wife or girl friend, after all that's what they're there for.

A good win for Chelski this afternoon. I thought that one was going to be more tricky than it was. We should beat Bolton (and do Fulham a favour) and ManUSA should beat Wigan. However, Wigan's rubbish pitch is a great leveller and Bruce has them really fired up at the moment. The Bat sniffs a possible upset .......

Then, as Errol Flynn might say, "Now for Moscow at a crack at those Mancs".

ps ... Good news on the visa front. Anyone with a valid match ticket can stay in the country for 72hrs without a visa. If they stay longer they have to pay for one when leaving the country. Otherwise ......

Default Carlos Tevez ?

Have there been many players in either the Premiership or First Division that have scored the goal to save their team from relegation (In Carlos' case West Ham) and then the verynext season score the goal to win the title ? Surely no one's done it against one team (Carlos v Man U) and then done it a year later for that very team (Carlos for Man U) ? On top of that both games were/will be last games of the season ! Hope this makes sense. Just thinking this could be a first !
