An interesting observation, Billy Boy.
It adds even more excitement to the final day's play in the Premiership.
Will surely be a first if it happens!

I dont know if anyone else read David mellors coloumn in the Standard last night.On Chelsea he was berating them for the home draws against Wigan and Villa.Well i could start going on about home draws against Villa and Boro and Birmingham till the cows come home but it isnt going to change the situation.However what was truly startling was his point about United.They have not been able to pay back all of the mounting interest on their loans so they have had to roll them over and they are paying 14.5% interest!So they only need to have one bad season and they could well go bust.So if United win the title they clearly have done so by spending well above their means.Rather devalues the title.Given that the loans have to be repaid by 2016 there is going to have to be a reckoning sooner or later otherwise United could easily follow the path trodden by Leeds United.

I heard about Mellor's comments .... but ManUSA have dropped points too, Man City did the double over them and they did well to scrape a point at Blackburn. Even if ManUSA win the league (as I expect them to do) I still think Chelski have done brilliantly this season with all the absences and behind the scenes shenanigans.

I haven't worked it out so I dn't know if it's true, but on TalkSport yesterday some bloke claimed that if the season had started with Avram's first game in charge, Chelsea would have won the league already! It is the points Utd had on the board at that stage of the season that has kept them ahead.
