Had United not had so many injuries in 1998, Arsenal would never have won the title.
If John Giles and Jack Charlton were female impersonators, Leeds would never have won the title either.
Not a case of sour grapes. Just a wee dram of rancid wine then.

Well done to the Boro for their 8-1 victory over Man City. However, someone pointed out last night that the Man City players were "on strike" in protest over Sven's treatment by the management.
Likewise King Kev,who is in for a bollocking from his chairman. He has kept Newcastle in the Premiership, and has now laid the foundation to establish his own team. Why they need a Director of Football (Dennis the Unwise) is beyond me? Does anyone else agree that the big football clubs are becoming too top heavy?

At least you are consistent Orphs ,you are as ungracious in defeat as you are in victory
Man United were the financial model for todays modern game (prior to the influx of foreign ownership ) and if the fans were one day to regain ownership ,we would still outspend you on income ,and still be solvent .

If your penalty reference was to the Rio incident ,correct decision by the referee.
The handball rule starts below the shoulder ,the shoulder muscle wraps around the arm and attaches the top of the bicep ,this area has never been deemed handball (although as a referee you already know that I'm sure)
Anyway if you give that as a penalty you have to give Scholes his (Whether he should have been on the pitch is another discussion )and if you count them all as being converted we still win .
I don't think it is sour grapes Orpheum , I detect the green eyed monster

I agree, I think Chelsea were done yesterday by 45minutes of either bent or bad refereeing at Wigan. To quote United old boy Steve Bruce:

"You should ask the referee about his integrity, not about my team. Thankfully there was nothing riding on it for us but I have to say three decisions in the first half were absolutely unbelievable. You would have thought Rio had gloves on and to say the penalty we conceded was harsh is an understatement."

I think it's probably the result of ref intimidation by Ferguson.

I am so glad to be a Fulham fan, no favours from the media or the authorities. We stayed up legally unlike lucky West Ham with illegal Tevez(although he is a sublime footballer).

Stevie Boy,
West Ham got relegated with 42 points, so consider yourself lucky. As for the Tevez Saga, I've noticed that the only people who harp on about it support teams with little or no current success. As for Tevez the player I agree, he also appears to carry himself very well off the pitch too, more power to his elbow.

I felt sorry for west ham when they went down with 42 points, no doubt, but last year's shennagigans were unsavoury, rules are rules after all, unless you are the big 4 and West Ham
