Well, Stevie boy that's the only time this year I've heard West Ham mentioned in the same sentence as the "Big Four".

Blimey .... he had a good game then. I woul love to watch the second leg, but I don't have Sky. Perhaps the Ginger Gooner will be at home .....

Sorry penfold, but I thought you were a Leeds fan. Are City your home town team of choice?

Complex; I've been a Leeds fan since '68, despite being a Hampshireman....went to College in Yorkshire so I could be a season ticket holder while I studied...early '80's. When I moved to Bristol with work in '87, started watching City (Old 3rd Div then IIRC) rather than Rovers....well, we all have a lower division team we keep an eye on don't we...bizarrely, the spinning wheel of fortune seems to mean that the roles are reversed....for the time being at least....

It is indeed a complex business ....

I started supporting Chelsea in the mid-60s. Norwich were never really in the mix because my Dad is from Suffolk and supported Ipswich. He took me to see CFC at Portman Road every year with the occasional trip to The Bridge. We started to go to see NCFC in 1971 and I followed them as well as CFC till the 80s when I stopped watching footie for a while. The Chelsea thing has always been there but my allegiance to the Canaries has been a bit hit and miss although I was a regular during the Stringer/Walker halcyon days of the late 80s/early 90s. I only stopped going when Rioch was in charge. I still go occasionally to Carrow Road but I can't afford a day trip to Stamford Bridge .... last time of checking it would have set me back (inc food and travel) well over a hundred quid!

I do enjoy a trip to see Wroxham FC and the Ginger Gooner and I sometimes go to watch Cambridge United.

I was glad the Robins saw off Warnock's lot.

In fairness, the git behaved well last night....he applauded our winner, was shaking hands with GJ, and waving to the City fans...before the end of the game.
It seems he does know when he's beaten....or he's going for a new image...

Someone said that on TalkSport the other day .... apparently that's how he has been most of the season.

What a poor UEFA Cup Final. Not much point in taking part if you dont attack. So to Rangers i say"are you Chelsea in disguise".
Mellor had a right go at Steve Bennett in last nights Standard.Mind you for Steve Bennett to get 1 out of 4 decisins right is good going by his standards, particularly with Fergie telling him what to do.

That's a bit unfair orph ... Chelsea may not be the prettiest side to watch but they are hardly as defensive as Rangers. It was a poor match so we switched over to watch Hull thrash Watford. I would like to say 'bad luck Watford' but luck didn't come into it, Watford were awful in the second half. Better luck (and performances) next year.

I think the CL Final will be much better .... at least I hope it will!

I want to predict now that whoever wins the play off match between Bristol and Hull will not equal the points tally of Derby unless they spend 45million as per Sunderland.I also predict that all 3 promoted from the Championship will go straight down.
Watford you really are better off out of it,but Palace will get promoted automaticaaly next season>I was going to say the same for QPR but they they appointed Ian Dowie as manager so more likely Division 1 for them
