I hear that Adebayor is looking to jump ship from Arsenal to AC Milan. After Euro2008 the vultures should be circling around Fabregas.

I would imagine that many a cheque book will be waved about during Euro2008. It's got be quite a shop window, especially for the talent about to be "discovered", the agents must be wetting their pants !.

Unless he was thinking that £70million would service a tenth of the Glazer debt.
He is indeed an altruist then.
If they can get 70 million or more for Ronaldo I'd say get rid and put in an offer for Barcelona's Messi. A much more complete player in my opinion.
Ronaldo is becoming a bit of a prima donna and it cannot be good for team harmony.

Just two seasons ago they were saying how Ronaldinho was the greatest player ever and how much he was worth - and to be truthful he hasn't done much since.
No man is bigger than the team.

Can Messi score 40 goals a season? No matter, if Ronaldo goes, Ferguson

will find the answer. He's already got Sergio Aguero from Athletico Madrid

lined up!

I think it's a case of when Ronaldo goes, not if. He's won his trophies in England and would not doubt enjoy the slightly less punishing pace of La Liga. I'm sure he and his family would rather live in Spain, than the North of England. Man U fans can't say he hasn't played well for them and I don't think it's realistic to expect team/club loyalty from superstars, especially if they have no real ties to the team/club (family/boyhood supporter/youth team, etc.).

The Euros started with a whimper yesterday .... the opening match was a real snoozefest and the Portugal v Turkey game was only slightly better.

Best match so far, though still not great. Holland v Italy tonight in "The Group of Death".

Platini says he will clamp down on the cheats of the premiereship namely Man Utd and Chelsea.UEFA and FIFA are now considering what sanctions to take against clubs who do not live within their budget. The Man U v Chelsea CCL Final may yet backfire on both participents.

Good luck to him.
