Well if he is good enough for United he should be just about good enough to play for us.As for Bats i quote you Platini's words:-
"Look at the combined debt of Man U and Chelsea.FIFA and UEFA have to do something about this.Because today it is those who cheat who win. When clubs are heavily in debt, its easier for them to win than clubs who follow the rules and are not in debt.We have to bring about more equilibrium but this cannot be achieved in a day"
In relation to foreign ownership of clubs he said:-
"-
The aim is no longer to win titles but to pay back debts.I am very perturbed by clubs being bought by foreigners.I dont understand why americans would invest in these clubs if they had any other agenda but making money. Its acontinual financial course"
I can only assume that good old Michel must read the Britmovies site in general and my contributions in particular.Nice to kinow he agrees with my views.I wonder if he is registered on this site and is secretly Steve Cook with a passion for P &P.
Might even be DB7.So wherever you are Michel make yourself known
As i have said many times,Chelski and United, enjoy it whilst it lasts!

Platini has left us a sign. I know of a few lepers that need healing in Manchester and West London, if he's not too busy.

What is it about Platini and British football?
He seems to go out of his way to denigrate what is the best football league competition in the world.
Typical French clown.

How on earth did he and Blatter get to be in charge of world football?
They certainly make a good comedy act. The funny thing is that they take themselves seriously.

Dave.

Some claim he has a massive guilt complex/chip on his shoulder about English football and rarely passes up on an opportunity to have a dig. On that fateful night in Heysel he scored the winning penalty and must cringe everytime he see's how he celebrated scoring given the tragedy that had taken place.

Default Scolari Takes The Czar's Rouble

Let me ask right away. Unlikely as it may now seem, should by some twist of fate Big Fill not win the Premiership or the Champions League, do Chelski supporters think Roman would sack him ?

The length of his contract and any get-out clauses would probably give some indication of intent. If Chelsea aren't playing champagne football and winning the two biggies I suspect he'll get the bullet.

It might not even last that long, the press intrusion frightened him off the England job and Chelsea wont be a cakewalk.

Latest reports are that Scolari has signed a three year contract worth a cool 15 million quid.
He has also been promised a huge 100 million quid to spend on players.
His first signing is expected to be Deco from Barcelona.

Very exciting times ahead at Stamford Bridge.

Dave.
