Is it true that they automatically withdraw money from your account for cup games and if you stop it they cancel your ST?

Unfortunately yes it's true ,not only that you need a season ticket for the car park now ,these yanks now how to make a buck. I am inclined to agree with arsene wenger (my god I feel faint ) that foreign investment is taking the soul out of british football

Ahem. What is wrong with our level Mr Orpheum? There is some better quality in our league than the media will have you believe.

Oops you said league three didn't you? We're in the fourth, my mistake

League Three ... that would be the old Division Three now known as League One, with the old Division Four now being called League Two. I get very confused by all this .

Harbottle's Aldershot are in the Conference I assume from his strong defence of the quality of Conference football, and that's the combined equivalent of the old Southern League and Northern Premier League.

Harbottle ... my brother-in-law lives in Fleet. If you like, next time we visit, you can introduce me to the joys of watching Aldershot.

Let me tell you that for many years in the 60s and 70s i did go to Brentford(still Have the programmes if you want them)and latterly to Barnet. So nothing wrong with your level at all.
I also go along with Bats sentiments about Rugby.I was forced to pay it for one term at school.Only tackled once and after that learned to keep out of the way.Played football for my old boys for 5 years after school and then a ref for over 20 years.I can still remember every one of the 6 goals i scored.Someone crossed the ball along the line of the penalty area and i volleyed it,a la Van Persie from 20 yards into the roof of the net.Shame it wasnt in front of 60000!

Was only joking orpheum. We lost again today.

Thanks for the offer of the programmes but it would mean something else to hulk down to France in a few weeks/months time.

According to the radio it was a dismal game with both sides showing no creative ability whatsoever. Fulham nearly nicked it late on though. Mid-table mediocrity here we come!

The Ginger Gooner just called me from stewarding at a desolate Carrow Road where Norwich City just lost to Sheffield Wednesday and are now only one point above the drop zone.

Blast .... that means that if the slippery slope for Chelski leads to the Championship I might not be able to enjoy Norwich v Chelski next season.

Where's Harbottle .... I might be able to wangle a ticket to see Aldershot!

Bats.

What time can you get here and I'll see if they will wait for you

Sad to see Norwich doing so badly under the other awful Grant, Delia might know her onions in the kitchen but she seems not to have found the right footy receipt. I saw the highlights of the match at Wolves on the box last Sunday and the Canaries looked dire. A long way from the days I used to watch them with the likes of Justin Fashanu, Graham Paddon, John Deehan and Martin Peters

Nice relaxing day on the footy front as the Shots did not play due to Sultana sport deciding to televise our game v Exeter City thus moving it to next Tuesday....but now they aren't apparently Was tempted to pop over to see Fleet Town take on Mangotsfield in the FA Cup but sloth got the better of me

I remember those days ... I used to go with my dad regularly in the 70s. What great names .... Peters, Keelan, MacDougall, Suggett, Boyer et al. The late Justin Fashanu once borrowed my bike! He was a great lad. I don't know what went wrong for him but in those days he seemed a happy, carefree chap. Vary sad.

Locally Peter Grant is not very popular. I reckon he'll be gone by the New Year if things don't improve. The Ginger Gooner said City were awful today and were booed off at the end. Just like Stamford Bridge then.

Come on the Shots!

Bats.
