One passionate Scots fan too many at Celtic this week!

I'm more a rugby fan than footy and it's the killer question in the club bar.

Is it better to lose the the Jocks or Taffs................?

The rugby equiv of the Jocks or the Germans I guess?

.....You couldn't hear it, if they were shooting at me with howitzers!

I'm as mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore!

The Scots have a certain reputation.

I remember hearing of a Celtic v. Rangers match having to be abandoned because they couldn't find a coin to toss before kick-off.

Hoots mon!

Well done indeed .not a game for the purist but the English side showed the qualities that have made our nation famous for the right reasons. They showed tremendous spirit after being touted as the worst world champions ever ,and showed an absolute refusal to bow to an opponent supposedly superior in every aspect of the game .It's not impossible that we could win it again

I May be getting older ,but I refuse to grow up

Arsenal used to have an annual match v Glasgow Rangers. In 1968 a disputed decision against Rangers resulted in a hail of beer cans on to the pitch. That was the end of the fixture/
Celtic came down to play us at Highbury for David O Learys testimonial.Towards the end one very inebriated Celtic fan stood up a couple of rows in front of me turned around unzipped his fly and urinated. He was promptly hauled off by the enearest police officer. So alas Scots do have a history of disobedience at football matches.

A good day of Premiership action. The Arse do look the business, as do ManUSA and ManCity. Liverpool are having a bit of a splutter and Chelsea grind out a result at Bolton. I think this is developing into a most interesting season. The 'Big 4' are all up at the top end but it's good to see other clubs hovering around, with ManCity being the real cuckoo in the nest.

United's second half performance against Wigan was excellent. Some of the fast, precise passing and ball skills shown were a joy to watch.
United seem to be suddenly hitting their straps and the return of Wayne Rooney certainly has something to do with their uplift in play and goals.

With Lampard fit again for Chelsea I wonder whether McLaren will change a winning England side and bring Laps back into the team?

From what I heard on the radio, and the little I saw on TV, Lampard had a very quiet game. By his own admission he's not quite fit enough at the moment. Another week and he'll probably be OK. It's a difficult one .... Personally, I'd keep as much of that winning team together as I could.

If the lineman hadnt made his usual cock up it would have been 3-0 and we would all have been thinking of what the score would have been.Unfortunately they all went off to sleep till Sunderland equalised. To equalise at the Emirates is always a dangerous thing for the opposition to do.However credit to Sunderland. They put up more of a fight than promoted teams usually do.They are more usually like Derby who roll over and die.

Another lethargic days for us but the gooners look like a well-oiled machine. The Mancs will also slip into gear soon and start looking a great danger.

I know how much you admire Sven, but ManUSA look quite good too.
