I didn't say that, I'm not that stupid!

There's gonna be a lot more interest in Lampard now that he looks to be getting back to form, I personally think he'll go. The Shevchenko/Ballack debacle will no doubt rear it's head again and undermine the progress that has been made and no doubt Droggy will find something to moan about, he usually does.

Even a staunch Jose fan like me has to admit that Grant has done OK and the team is playing well, Cate seems to be a good acquisition and, from where I am standing, there seems to be a bit of solidarity within the squad.

However, it could all go horribly wrong at any time ....

Avram for England? He couldn't be any worse than McClaren!

Long way to go yet. Chelsea's problem will be interference from that Ruskie and too many people involved in management decisions.

And the loss of Droggy, Essien, Mikel and Kalou during the African Nations Cup. I reckon the management pecking order will be sorted, I can't imagine Roman letting it get out of hand again. Avram's his man and I reckon he'll get all the support he needs.

ps - I hear The Arse have just equalised!

Yep, they're a class act so let's hope for a really foul winter. Bizarre that such a technical side skied two open goals. Bad game for us as two returning from injury limped off.

Sadly I think the Mancs have more grit away from home and will take the title.

I think you might be right ... ManUSA look like they have what it takes for the long haul, especially if they add another striker. The Arse are very good but it remains to be seen if they can keep that kind of momentum going till next May. Chelski have lost too much ground and it will take one heck of an effort to catch up with the others. Liverpool do not look good at the moment, they may be able to turn it around but IMHO Ricky has to decide on his best side and stick with it.

Drogba going to the ANC will cost them valuable points as he is the one most opponents fear (and the other forwards are no great shakes)

Another bad day for the Tots, the new manager has certainly got his work cut out but I think they'll survive. Derby and Bolton look certainties for the drop, my other relegation tip - Wigan, on the slippery slope and Chris Hutchings is starting to sound like Little Sammy Lee.

At the other end ... I reckon it's between The Arse and ManUSA with Chelski closing the gap ... The Jolly Scousers IMHO will be loafing around with the likes of Blackburn and Pompey unless Ricky can turn it around.

As I have said before, this is the most interesting season for several years!

Not a bad sunday afternoon.a late draw at anfield and a late winner for blackburn.with a bit more steadiness in fron of goal it could have been a win double.I just cant see Liverpool challenging for the title.I am looking forward to the Carling Cup on Wednesday eve.Not just because our game at Sheffield is on the box but because Spurs are playing Blackpool at home.i predict this will go to penalties.i do not see a turnaaround in spurs fortunes before the transfer window because their defence is useless and their midfield often non exsistant.

Looks like you and palace are headed in different directions. But tell me wouldnt you prefer being a big fish in a small pool than getting back into the premiereship and getting thumped most weeks?

Nah................! Once in a while you do the impossible, 0-1 win at the scousers, 2-4 win in our first season at Highbury, then a 0-1 at White Hart Lane.........and you still earn more being a Yo-Yo than a fixture, like Ipswich, in the second Div!

Now come on the 2-4 at Highbury was in 1982-3.That day you had John Barnes. You dont have anyone to compare with him now.
I look at Derby and every week they get a thumping, doent seem like much fun to me.After all they have supplied both Spurs and Derby with their only home wins. They are a dead cert to go down.Sunderland may escape.
Eitther you spend money and hope or you save money for when you go back down.Look i am happy enough for you to come back up since i rely upon Watford for 6 points.

I've followed The 'orns since 1973. We had all seater stands then, I remember Hartlepool beating us at home to send us 92nd in the league. We all just sat on the terrace and moped! It was more fun then, you could have an upset. Now they are exceeding rare! I can't see anyone other than The Red Menace or The Arse winning the league this year.

If we carry on as we are and that's a BIG if, we might just be good enough to end up as a Fulham or Reading. If we did that's Jam on our bread and butter. It could be a lot worse, I could be a Newcastle fan, at least at the Vic we're honest about our potential!!

Best moment supporting Watford? 1978, Moanchester Utd away in the League cup. Joe Jordan put them 1-0 up and Luther Blisset scored 2 crackers that saw Div 3 Watford go through, WHAT a night!! The copper leading us back to the train station was a City fan, boy was he loving it!!

Have to agree with you Orph! As a Spurs fan of many years standing I am very disheartened by our show this season. We need to spend buckets of dosh to get a decent team together. I can't see Defoe staying much longer so might get a bit of dosh for him and as for Steed (Bloody Donkey more like) Malbranque, why did they sign him? Gives the ball away 8 times out of ten. Useless! He should pay for the privilege of playing. The defence is pretty sound, hopefully not too long for King and Gardner make a return. Keano, Berbatov, Lennon and Janus (come back soon) in the attack and on the wide. God help Ramos, you have a bloody hard job ahead of you.

It was Friedel who kept Blackburn in the game on Sunday and he was absolutely outstanding, git, hehe.

On MOTD2 last night which you wouldnt have seen where you are Lee Dixon and Allen hansen estimated that Spurs would have to spend around 40-50 million to put the team right.
I think that at this moment most Spurs fans would be glad of 4th from bottom let alone 4th from top. They are lucky that they are surrounded by teams who are unlikely to go on any sort of run so no gap has developed. However they are massively short of confidence and they just cannot seem to be able to buy a result at the moment.I was atching last Thursday night on the box and i cannot remember such a bizarre night .Yesterday Levy said that he fired Jol after the game.If that was the case then Jol was the last one in the ground to know that he had been fired particularly as they announced it over the tv as the game was in progress. As TT would say What a shower.
