I know this is said after most Cup Final's, but was that not one of the worst ever? Not helped by the wretched one striker formation which both sides adopted, and nearly always leads to a boring game. We are used to seeing Chelsea playing dull football, but it was out of keeping for Manchester United.

I must confess that if The Blues hadn't been involved I would have joined you. It was touch and go at half time whether I watched the second half or let my son watch Enjy Benjy !!!!

The one good move of the game resulted in the only goal .... imagine what could have happened if both teams had put some moves together instead of just standing about most of the game. Still, at least Mourinho has a full set of domestic trophies.

Kelp, I didn't know we had another Baggies fan on the forum.
The Albion v. Derby playoff final should be full of end to end action.

You're lucky mate. I stayed up till 3.00am in this part of the world - just hoping to see some decent football. What a change from last year's great final.
Nice to see Chelsea win but the match was as boring as hell.
Doesn't say much for the Premiership when the league's top two sides cannot produce any enterprising moves or attacking flair between them.
Completely forgetable.

Hope Liverpool can redeem the name of the Premiership by beating AC Milan next week with a bit of style. That games coverage starts over here at 3.30am.

I shall probably watch a good film that night, or go to bed early, I can't bear to think that Liverpool will win it again. What really annoys me is that all the media hype seems to imply that everyone 'loves' Liverpool and that we all want them to win. Nearly everyone I know (except my Scouse mate Frank) wants Milan to give a sound thrashing .... then maybe that irritating pillock Phil Thompson will shut up !!!!

Really? As a lifelong Spurs supporter, I'll be delighted if Liverpool win.

I think you'll find that most people were delighted that Chelski didn't win the Premiership and just as delighted that ManU didn't do the Double - but maybe I'm biased
