Spurs still providing comedy value for the southerners.

Great support from the Kop for Rafa.
I think that if the American owners tried to get rid of him now they would have a revolt on their hands from players and fans.

Seems Rafa will never walk alone.

Dave.

Just got home in time to see Larsen whiz the winner into the Spurs net.Oh what fun.Mind you a bit off the ref asking for Rennies opinion on anything. He is without doubt one of the worst refs the Premiereship has ever seen. How can they allow him back on the panel if he has only just passed his fitness test.

Didn't help Chelski .... the last few performances under Jose were pants!

While I am still a fan of 'The Special One', young Avram appears to be doing the business. Looks like a great scrap lies ahead between the 'big four'.

I suspect that whoever is least affected by the African Nations Cup will win the Prem this year.

Not if someone at Stamford Bridge can concoct a madcap scheme whereby Drogba and Shevchenko trade places and it's Andrei who goes off to play for the Ivory Coast.

There's a film there somewhere...

You're an ungrateful lot, he bagged you 2 titles in 4 years! I think he deserved more respect and certainly more time as he wasn't a rookie like Sammy Lee/Chris Hutchings or a dogs-of-war merchant like Allardyce.

You misunderstand me ..... I think what Roman did to Jose was crap ..... I was referring to your comment about the threat of the manager getting the sack being inspirational .... it was a dig at the players, not Jose. I wish Jose was still in charge, 'cos if Avram can still keep the team up there, IMHO Jose would have them doing even better.

'The Special One' is still top man for me!

Good to see Sir Alex back on top form after the Ronaldo 'dive' last night ..... other hot news, Sheva may be going to play in the USA ..... I wonder if he's gonna get an increase on his £154,000 per week salary.

OK, so off three straight defeats, The Mighty 'Orns win at last...!!

WBA lose at home..................and the 'Orns go 4 points clear at the top.

All it suggests to me is that the top teams in the Championship aren't good enough to survive in the Premiership.

Reading have thus far. Wigan I think have been 'sussed'. Derby? Nuff said.

So whether at the Hawthorns or The Vic, expect a false dawn around April.......

Liverpools win against Besiktas has come under scrutiny as there was a lot of high spread betting on a large win according to the Daily Express.

Not having seen the full article, I would say that the volume or stake of the Liverpool bets are not important...it's when they were placed. Many if not most of spread bets are struck during play....so what might seem like an outrageously large bet on say Liverpool to win by five or more goals may have been placed when they were already four ahead.

Bit of a Bay Window, what??

Bribing top-flight league players is hard as many are on 80k and would want a significant sum to risk their careers. There is supposed to be a dossier with 14 suspect games earmarked.
