With virtually a whole team out injured or suspended (and the African Cup coming soon as well) Chelski will struggle. A dip into the transfer market is on the cards I think just to keep 'em going!

What goalfeasts we've had this festive season.

Tottenham 6 Reading 4 was a Christmas cracker.

My favourite though - West Brom. 5 Scunthorpe 0.
Premier League here we come.

I'm at work .... we're not allowed newspapers in here. I just read a post on the 'Extras' thread which gives an indication .... does it involve two males, a female and a simulation of a certain type of cooking?

I would be sorry if Sam Allardice gets the boot for his team's shortcomings. For a team that has gone through so many managers - and Sam had a decent run at Blackburn Rovers - surely the fault lies with the team.

Not entirely. Allardyce got the best out of a limited bunch (At Bolton, not Blackburn) using limited tactics by dint of a great backroom set-up. At Newcastle he has better players (though a car crash as a team unit) poor backroom for a club of its stature, and the same limited tactics. A Limited manager in a perennially underachieving club is not a good recipe. A great club would not have appointed Allardyce....and a great manager would not have accepted the post.

Bit of a Bay Window, what??

Fair comment. I often get Bolton and Blackburn mixed up,though.
