Hearty congratulations to the mighty Liverpool side - once again crowned worthy champions of Europe.

I know DB7 will still be celebrating so please have one for me mate

What a game!
What a comeback !

If anyone needed convincing that God truly is an Englishman then this is it.

To the small minority who believe that football shouldn't be mentioned on this forum please file this under 'Huge World Wide Television Ratings

Dave.

The greatest game I've ever seen! Brilliant. Gerrard for England captain.

For Liverpool Football Club, the players, past and present, the staff, the fans

All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. this I did.

I thought I saw DB7 amongst the crowd celebrating in Liverpool - he was the one wearing the red shirt

Walk on...walk on...

Even the Archers would struggle to provide such drama and highs and lows of emotion.

Cool

I am not a football fan on the whole, but well done Liverpool for bringing pride back into English football and in Steve Gerrard,a worthy leader and a model for all other captains.
Now let us see how Hartlepool do on Sunday!

I thought Julia's wedding was a bit of a let down. I was expecting more drama.
Oh, you mean those other Archers

Emeric Pressburger was a football fan. He supported Arsenal all his life. It was the only team that anyone outside England had heard of back in the 1930s.

He also found it a good place to meet lots of different people so he could learn a lot about the English language and people and all their quirks and oddities.
