Default Glastonbury 2009

In case your going......yes I know its started......weather forecast as follows.
Mostly fine Thursday..........up to 24C risk isolated shower
Friday. More humid (strip off if possible) and enjoy the Thundery downpours....still up to 24C. Prepare for mud baths/wrestling etc......
SatSun/ slightly cooler , mostly fine risk of isolated only.......
Dry off if you can............
Whatever.....have a good time....and don't drink the water.........
Sgt S......(Who would rather have gone to Woodstock)

Yes Dave.............I did post yesterday (or day before) that thundery showers were most likely today.........I see enough "mud" when on building sites, so I don't want to find more..........
Any how...........let the mud wrestling begin..................

Good luck to those who's idea of a good time is sitting in a crowded field and lining up for overflowing toilets, but it's not for me. Throw the likelihood of rain and thus mud and you have from my POV a nightmare ! Still obviously enough people enjoy it !

Apparently Bruce Springsteen overran the close down curfew by 9 minutes and therefore the local council have fined the organisers £3,000 which Michael Eavis will pay.

We invite one of the greatest rock bands in the world to play at a reknown festival which must bring money into the coffers of the local council and we treat them like that. Why is it the people in power give the impression that they are mean spirited jobsworths.

they should have just pulled the plug when bruce's allotted time ran out and left him 'dancing in the dark'!
did anyone see blur? it just confirmed how bad a singer damon albarn is-graham coxon is a great guitarist though!
