I was mistaken for Alexei Sayle at a party once, twenty-odd years ago...it must have been the too-tight suit...now I have to wear a beard or people think I'm Charles Laughton...

More recently - in fact, since his death - I was likened to Gene Pitney.
And years ago, somebody said that I looked like Adam West, who played Batman in the TV series. As Roy Cropper, Gene Pitney and Adam West don't look like each other, I'm mightily confused. |

"You poor sod!"
"That sounds a bit creepy." You're telling me ...Why oh why oh why oh why oh why couldn't I look like Tom Cruise? Perhaps I've got hidden talents that these good looking guys haven't. Mind you, I've got the perfect face for radio. (Stand by for a plug for my community radio show!!!!) If you like film music, then I'm on for the next two Sundays on Halton FM 87.9 (50 cent bingo book cd at haltonfm879.com) where I play the very best music from motion pictures. Some old favouriites, some surprises but all of iut good stuff. Tune in chaps (and chappesses)....You can even listen via the website. |
