It was Terrorists responsible for for 9/11 and 7/7, neither the American or British Governments 'conspired', for what possible reason would they sanction the deliberate Murder of over 3'000 people?, all these conspiracy theories can't be bringing much comfort to the Families of the deceased

It's similar to Mohammed Al-Fayed's crazy theory that Prince Philip and MI5 conspired to get poor Princess Diana 'out of the way', does anyone in their right mind believe that Prince Philip would sanction the Murder of the Mother of his own Grandchildren?

What country would sacrifice the lives of 2,000 of their own soldiers in a war against a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 or the "War On Terror"?

Interesting viewpoint David, but Military personnel have to 'obey orders', as they have throught History, however distasteful it may seem (I'm unaware of likely to be next USA President Barack's viewpoint on the 'War' though)

It's the brave volunteering Men and Women in all the Armed Forces who try to make the World a safer place for all the rest of us

I was just trying to say Mark that nothing a government does should surprise us.
Their motives are a means to an end - the details of which the public are usually left in the dark about.

Secret Government papers released recently in Australia revealed that in the early 1970's the US Government asked the Aust. Government if it could test nerve gas on a platoon of Aussie soldiers in a "training exercise" in the Queensland tropics. The gas was part of the germ warfare the US hoped to use on the Vietnamese.
The gas was to be sprayed on the unsuspecting troops from an aircraft.

The top secret papers revealed that the Australian government agreed to the tests on it's own troops. Thankfully the tests did not proceed but it shows that the Aussies were prepared to sacrifice their own troops in a deadly test just so they could remain good allies with the Americans. Of course details of this test would have been kept from the public.
Unbelievable? Certainly but then nothing surprises me when it comes to the clandestine actions of governments.

Obama apparently has promised to bring the troops home from Iraq but I'm sure the war machine in the US Congress will have something to say about that.

I only wish they get paid more for risking their lives. I hope they get an injury payout too when hurt.

I will challenge you: take your "theories" and travel to lower Manhattan. Then put up a soapbox. Make sure you do it at lunch on a workday, so that you get the New Yorkers and not only tourists.

Then annouce your ideas to the Wall Streeters on lunch break. Tell them that it was Americans who slaughtered Americans - that tens of thousands of Americans cooperated secretly in the largest conspiracy theory in the history of the world, and that the terrorists are exonerated. After all, it is Americans who did it and are responsible. Tell them that you are blaming them.

But first - let me know. I will make sure to be there and watch.
