There aren't that many that had a title role in a Michael Powell film that are still alive. Who have you found?

I would think that the most likely candidate would be that boy that turned yellow, Mark Dightam.

That was a response to Helen Mirren. I checked where Mark Dightam lives and he lives in Greater Manchester.

Powell didn't do many films with a person's name in the title.

Herzog Blaubarts Burg (1964) but Norman Foster's dead

The Tales of Hoffmann (1951) but Robert Rounseville is dead, as is Hoffmann
My Friend the King (1932) but the old King's dead
