Default Friend of Dorothy

Wow! A tornado hit London a couple of hours ago and now the Britmovie site has suddenly appeared in glorious Technicolor.
Where's that Yellow brick road?

I'm sure we'll turn the lights off again in the New Year.

Ha!! Try this one with a menacingly-held rolling pin. This is what happens when I start practicing for Christmas baking and certain husbands believe their recipes are better than mine.

Crikey, have you got a licence for that? It's Nora Batty meets Carry On!

In keeping with the seasonal site and in appreciation, a new avatar

"Oh! But he was a tight-fisted hand at the grind-
stone, Scrooge! a squeezing, wrenching, grasping,
scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner! Hard and
sharp as flint, from which no steel had ever struck out
generous fire; secret, and self-contained, and solitary
as an oyster. The cold within him froze his old features,
nipped his pointed nose, shrivelled his cheek,
stiffened his gait; made his eyes red, his thin lips blue;
and spoke out shrewdly in his grating voice."

Default BritMovie Christmas Cheer.

What a nice surprise to see the BritMovie webpage in such a festive mood.
It looks great.

Hearty congratulations to the two Steve's and every one else involved in the new Christmas design.

Cheers everyone.

Dave.

I know, all this COLOUR must come as a bit of a shock to the system.

Anyhoo, Merry Christmas everyone and should you require naff socks and cheap aftershave in the New Year I might be able to help out.

Default Xmas Deccies

It's a bit previous to have Xmas Deccies. They should go up 12 days before Xmas and come down on 12th night. (My birthday)
