Any other Fic Writers present?

I'm curious as to whether there are many fanfic writers here, for classic and vintage film and TV? So much online fic is geared towards the "new", and dominated by youngsters... I would be interested to know if anyone else writes.

I began writing fic at school in the early '80s, before I knew the term 'fanfic', and believed it was just a quirk of myself and a couple of pals in the Sixth Form common-room. Now it seems to be everywhere!

I don't get much time for it these days. There was an idea I had in mind to tackle earlier this years but circumstances put paid to it for a while. I may decide to resurrect it next year. Bats.

Is that original stuff or fanfic, Bats?
My original writing tends to be nonfiction:
Patrick Ferguson: A Man of Some Genius
Military Miscellany II.
I've also had some poetry in literary magazines.
I haven't worked up the confidence for original fiction yet, but enjoy writing fanfic inspired by favourite films, books, and TV. My Dark Side fic is accessible via the M J Bird Appreciation site section on the serial (then click the Novelisation link).
