    And those of us that haven't been so good will have to go and buy them ourselves - but at least that way we'll be sure of getting the right ones. I have a pile of DVDs that have been bought for me that I've hardly watched

    My son has a big library of DVDs and I just borrow a pile of them - that way, HE has to find the room and I still get the pleasure of watching them!

    I should have had more kids - one who reads a lot would have been good too....

    And one who likes cooking good food and needs someone to taste it.

    And one who likes exotic holidays but doesn't want to go alone.

    And ...

    No ,he banned Christmas for some time , we ought to do the same till the real meaning and value of Christmas is brought back , but alas i'm afraid that meaning has gone forever.The big commercial entities and tv have seen to that.

    name='Mark O']MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !

    That picture has certainly made my Christmas more merry - God I love Susan Heyward. I'm suddenly all nostalgic for the days before the computers at work blocked the Sexiest Actresses thread.

    People have been trying to curtail overexuberance at Christmas since the 17th century, and probably long before that. Does that give any clue as to how most people have always regarded it? Commercialisation might have increased and TV plays its part, but I don't think either of them are the cause of the problem (if it is really a problem). It's what most people want.

    And of course Christmas shouldn't be in December either

    It's just that the early Christians cleverly adapted their festivals to fit in with existing festivities. Most of the people on these island of ours are still pagans at heart

    You need to get another job or tell them that you have a weakness that requires you work from home: sexy actresses!
