Just had a look in my garage and found some dried up tins of paint and a broom with broken handle. Who'll start the bidding at £50K?

We have a double garage at Chateau Chevy. It's full of MrsCs work paraphernalia or empty boxes that said paraphernalia arrived in...................oh and an extra freezer and a little portion of the European Wine Lake

We have two cars and a garage for one .... but neither car ever sees the inside of it. It is full of tools, decorating stuff, at least five bicycles, a kids sit-on bulldozer, step ladders, a mini trampoline, a pagola, garden chairs etc etc .... plus two huge boxes of football programmes.

    The shed?

That's where the gardening implements live and my herbs are nurtured. I'd be lost without it

With a value like that any restoration work ought to be conservative

I want one of those proper blokey sheds of solitude with a radio, a little heater and a secret stash of alcohol. And then blow it up Sid James style.

I'm not old enough yet, and even the dog doesn't fancy venturing into the garden in this weather. We're fair-weather shedders.

LOL!........exactly the same here at Chateau Ovenden, the Vino made it with a little help from Sea France

The Bugatti is a beauty, hope they can get it started, though I guess it's deemed to valuable to be actually 'used' which is a shame

Wow that is some find. I saw one of them at a car Museum here in Los Angeles, a most beautiful work of art.

Nothing like that in my garage, Yes I have a garage but noting posh.It is almost 100 years old and I sometimes wonder how it is still standing. My small Toyota Corolla just manages to fit in it.have to be really careful how I drive in or I would hit the sides. It was made for a Model A Ford

If I were to clear out our garage, I would be paving the way for divorce, I reckon - he keeps all his drums out there, and they make a little money every now and then.

The Bugatti will vanish for some years to come as it is worth more leaving it exactly as found believe it or not.

Great story but the Doctor had money to start with and that was not just a lock up garage, two other cars mentioned in the article?

The best find in Hackney from a lock-up garage was a vintage 1973 MFI (Made for F**king Idiots) bedroom suite ,estimated to be worth ,Two Bob and an Apple.

Funny how it didnt mention what the estate was worth he left.
