He's almost having to give them away anyway - they're not a huge success.
He jumped on an already overloaded bandwagon.

One of these days someone will bring out a mobile phone that doesn't include a camera (still and video), doesn't download the news or play your favourite music - but it just makes phone calls well and reliably. I think that might be a big hit
