Not sure where to put this - I was on ebay and came across a suspect looking "celebrity biography" and traced it down to a self-publishing company called Betascript Publishing based in Mauritius. It appears that these "books" are actually Wikipedia articles on the subject and start at very high prices on ebay. I don't know if anyone else has seen these.

I came across this on Amazon the other day.... a biography of Patrick McGoohan, no less - ......... Once I realised what it was.......... I laughed. I'm a bit surprised Amazon have been gulled though.

Thank you - that's solved something I've been puzzled about for a while! Amazon seem to have a few weird titles these days - they just don't make sense, even as titles, but there's absolutely no description so the whole thing remains a mystery. There's another publisher called "Alphascript Publishing" that sounds like it's related to the above. Also, there are titles such as this one:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Prisoner-Por...8174943&sr=1-8

    which seem downright bizarre!

At lest where punter reviews exist they can clarify mysteries like this mis-fired filing.......

They've given them *covers* now. Are Amazon really idiotic? Or do they just think/know that their customers can be? I think we should be sold.... I mean told.

I like the way they put England last as if it was the least important part in the development of
the man who was Patrick Mcgoohan.
