I'll review shortly :) Thanks for the heads up.
12 quid or so would be incredibly cheap for a book of 1111 pages. I think that's some kind of default number which means an editor hasn't ut the right number in! The index is on page 335, according to the contents, so it's probably about 345 pages long in total.
1111 pages would make it a couple of chapters short of War and Peace and longer than most Dickens![]()
No matter how many pages the Book has got at least anyone who buys the Book from Amazon will save £8.40 (£11.60 instead of £20.00), someone has bought me the Book for Xmas, it also states on Waterstones and Tesco that the Book has got 1111 pages (Strange But True).

That's my cousin's book. It's not called 'The Untold Story' though. There was some other author who did a book years ago and got his lawyers involved as soon as it was announced, trying to stop it being finished - he even tried to claim the phrase 'Only Fools and Horses' couldn't be used in the title! Then he got lawyers to try to block the use of any quotes, etc etc - things had to be taken out and revised, then it was decided to put them back in, etc etc. I know it's really affected my cousin's health and he's thoroughly disgusted at how certain people have behaved. He gave all his author copies away last week -I feel bad for him, he's the last sort of person to invite that kind of nonsense. (And no, it doesn't have that many pages!)

I'm very sorry to hear about your cousin's health. It must be so frustrating to work on something for so long and with so much good will, only to have people of no creative input try to unstitch it all. I loved his "Spike & Co." by the way, which I think I remembered to say some time back, when I first read it.
I received my copy of Only Fools And Horses: The Untold Story Of Britain's Favourite Comedy, through the post today from Amazon, the Book has got just over 340 pages, the Book has been put away and i have no doubt it will be one of my favourite Xmas presents.
