Greetings from Amazon.co.uk,
We've noticed that customers who have purchased or rated James Robertson Justice: What's the Bleeding Time by H.R.H The Duke of Edinburg have also purchased Hattie: The Authorised Biography of Hattie Jacques by Andy Merriman. For this reason, you might like to know that Hattie: The Authorised Biography of Hattie Jacques will be released on 1 September 2008.

Damn cheek! I'm much younger and almost better looking!

Very glad you enjoyed it Ian - and I'd probably agree with your first comment. Unfortunately though I was working to a deadline, which rather forced my hand. Since publication I've continued to collate material and already have an additional 10,000 words at the ready. If we don't publish a second edition then I'll put it on the JRJ website.

Hoggers - after a long wait just got your book from the library where it seems to be very popular. What a great read, however can't get the image of JRJ and Molly Parkin in bed together out of my mind. What a strange coupling.

I'm afraid I had to remove the best MP story. It involved JRJ, Molly and a flourecent light bulb! Prince Phillip wouldn't write the foreword until it went.

I'll email it over if you like.

Glad you enjoyed the book!

Hmmm. Gives a whole new meaning to achieving enlightenment.

You mentioned in an earlier mail that your book available through you. I can't get through my local shop - Kinokuniya - and Amazon is wary of shipping here so could you possibly pm me with the details?
Thanks
Richard

My publisher has some Richard. I'm all out now I'm afraid. They're around £10 inc postage I think. Drop him an email. bruce@tomahawkpress.com

Do you have any anecdotes from your time working with him on "Foxhole" John? I for one would love to hear one or two!

Best,

After a weekend of heavy partying,I was slightly overcome after lunch on Monday. I do remember James dashing about and shouting."My director needs Help". Panic ensued, and i made a remarkable, and swift, recovery!
