Default "Reminder"

Does anyone have any idea if a revised edition of this might be in the pipeline? I'm quite eager to read Dennis Waterman's autobiography, but as it was written prior to "New Tricks" it might feel lacking a conclusion right now.

I suppose if someone prods the ghostwriter hard enough and hands over some loot it might appear but it's no good expecting the much loved thespian to write it himself.

Thats the joke that killed the Music Hall !

One shouldn't be too hard on him, even if that is the case. I mean, how many these days do more than dictate their memories for someone else to rework and type out? You're still getting the word from the horse's mouth.

I don't know, as I don't have the book. I also don't know how such credits are decided ie. whether it depends on how much the co-author contributed? Personally, it's not something that bothers me unless the book reads phoney, which in this case you seem to be suggesting?

Not suggesting it as most do credit nowadays. After the Joan Collins court case they have little choice.

Interestingly, she did more than just co-write his book:

Deke Arlon

That can happen, Ronnie Corbett's bio The Two Ronnies was co-written by David Nobbs who had contributed to the programme.
