I can recommend "Ealing Studios" by Charles Barr. Out of print in this country somewhat bizarrely but available from the states - I used Amazon.com
Also, if you're into Powell & Pressburger there's a great book on "A Canterbury Tale" by Paul Tritton. This is also out of print but the author is trying to drum up interest in a second print run. Have a look at the good tribute site run by Steve Crook (also a regular contributor on here) - http://www.powell-pressburger.org/ - this gives details on the book plus a wealth of PnP stuff. |
