In case anyone didn't know about this book (I only found out about it because it's a competition prize in this months's Film Review) .....

RRP £19.99 .... it's cheaper via amazon.

Patrick McGoohan did a TV spot for CBC in 1959. He flew out to perform in a St. Patrick's Day performance of The Iron Harp. I think he played the blind IRA character called Michael, but I've never tracked much else down. IMDB seems to confuse him into a Granada TV production of the same play that featured Richard Harris in the same role, but a year earlier.

Scanners was Canadian, of course.

Mr. McGoohan's 1996 film, Hysteria, was a Canadian/UK production..........

Well what he did was treat a co-star badly, OK Moor Larkin you worship the man and you will celebrate his birthday too. But that is no excuse to THROTTLE A WOMAN called Maggie.

You must be well into the know ain't you, and how can a 50 yr old man be told to F OFF by a 19 yr old really gets me.

I'm totally confused now. Did McGoohan insult a Canadian actress after she'd told him to F off? Or he had a row with Margaret Trudeau? What is the actual story?
