Excellent news Bob, been looking forward to this for a long time and I know it's going to be worth the wait.

Thanks....its been a life-long piece; hope it appeals to all tastes and fans of the show. Brian Clemens was pleased with it, I just hope its been worth the wait for him too. He wrote the 'Foreword' for me in December 2007?![]()
I'm sure it'll be fine, it's good that someone who obviously cares about the show and knows an enormous amount about it has the opportunity to share that knowledge with others rather than an established author just looking to make money out of the subject. Very pleased that your efforts are now going to be rewarded.
Brilliant! One copy for me, please.
Any feedback from Lewis/Martin?
As anticipated it looks like this will be an absolute essential! Well done on fulfilling your ambition of getting this into print. What a magnificent achievement.

Well done and lots of luck......

I emailed the publisher yesterday as to when the book would be available in the UK or overseas:
"I'm sure Everyone will have their hands on it Sometime in March. :)"

Sometime in March is news to me, but 'good' news! Thanks.
Didn't get a huge input from Martin or Lewis, but lots of interviews have been culled from various sources and people to still make things 'fresh'.![]()
Brian Clemens has made an immense contribution to British screen. Has he ever received any awards ?

These are listed on IMDb ....

Any update on the availability of your book?
It is now, "Sometime in March"
Sorry, I think the publishers may have been a little pre-mature; but here's to hoping...![]()
Have you put much in about Anthony Andrews (the first Bodie).
Should sell well to ITV3 viewers, who've just voted Bodie & Doyle No. 1 in their countdown of TOP COPS ON THE BOX (ITV3, Good Friday)!
There is a tad on Anthony Andrews, but as neither actor or agent expressed to speak with me I can only assume the story about him getting fired for being too 'chummy' with Martin Shaw still stands its ground.
The book was printed last Friday, and we are now waiting on 'Amazon' to put it up, unless of course you are in the US and you can order directly from the publishers BearManor Media.
It was a great success to get 'Top of the Cops' on the ITV3 poll, and just goes to show how fondly remembered and popular the show is today.
Thanks, and I'll post again when 'Amazon' get their finger out!
