    BBC Radio 7 Drama, Dick Francis’ Bonecrack. Accountant Neil Griffon finds himself involved in danger and intrigue when he takes temporary control of his ill father’s riding stables. Dramatised by John Ashe, starring Francis Matthews, Roger Snowdon, Caroline Blakiston, Mark Colleano and Dennis Bowen, directed by Brian Miller and first heard in 1976.Saturday 27th Feb at 1.30pm and 1.30am



    This should be worth listening to and I've set up the recorded!

    Thanks for this. Also an opportunity to hear Mark Colleano who is the son of Bonar Colleano, the American actor who appeared with Dirk Bogarde in The Sea Shall Not Have Them and Once a Jolly Swagman as well as the famous PnP film A Matter of Life and Death. Bonar was married to Susan Shaw and died at only 34 in a motor accident in the UK.

    They seem to be doing a series of them on BBC7. There was another on recently with Bill Nighy. Very well done it was.

    Listened to it yesterday and for a 70s radio play it stood up very well.

    Well Dick Francis doesn't have any memories of anything any more, not since he died. So I presume you mean the other Francis mentioned here, Francis Matthews
