His last series was very, very good
The music's good, but it's all about me memememememememe, too far up himself. It's a shame really.
Hi,
It was not quite as rock and rollish as I thought it would be. But I will listen again. But I was surprised to hear Joan Reagan in the show.

Hi,
Yes. Idol On Parade was a good film as well.

He'll end his stint by claiming it's all Liverpool FC's fault.
Bill was talking about the soul singer Arthur Alexander last time, so I sent him my poem about AA. Not the motoring organisation or the one for problem drinkers though I do mention bootleg whiskey! For those who are unfamiliar with Arthur, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Kidd, Gerry and The Pacemakers, The Merseybeats are amongst those who recorded songs written by him. Maybe Bill will play ' A shot of rhythm and blues' for me one week?![]()
Hi,
Since playing the surprising, but in my opinion, out of place extract from 'West Side Story' a few weeks ago, I must admit the series has got better.

King of the Holloway Road Teddy Boys.![]()
This week was the theme from Exodus. A few weeks ago it was Joan Regan!
Very Rock and Roll
Hi,
Yes. I must admit, it is this sort of record which could deter the mainstream listeners.
Cassidy.
What a small world! My maternal grandmother lived in Eden Grove for some time.
But to get it back to a film thread, are you aware that Charlie Chaplin visited the Nunnery/Nun's school there?
As far as radio is concerned however, I shall continue to listen. But I hope we have more classic rock 'n' roll. But apart to what has been said, I think it has improved since my first listen.
