Very enjoyable! By all accounts, Stuart Freeborn was the man to go to if you wanted an immaculate bald cap.
This is a programme that was on BBC Radio Four yesterday about the work of Stuart Freeborn, a makeup artist who started at Denham and carried on until 1990. He created the faces of Alec Guinness as Fagin and Peter Sellers in Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove, worked with Kubrick again to create the apes in 2001 and with Lucas to give a face to Yoda, alongside many others. I recorded this by accident yesterday, and haven't had a chance to to listen to it yet, but it is available on BBC iPlayer.

And here's the entry for Stuart from IMDB, which is impressive.
