Default Cd Wow

Has any body on this forum purchased anything on CD WOW? and was it a good service?. I have been looking at their site and some of their prices are very good, some of the region 1 dvd's are really good prices.

They're based in Hong Kong, and were recently bought out after going into administration.

The UK courts tried to 'do them' earlier in the year, as much of their stock is sourced from the Far East (and outside of official distributors).

I've bought a few items from them before, and found them to be okay, though they tend to be rather slow shippers, and watch out for occasional HM Customs charges on larger items or orders.

Bought the orginal Live Aid set from them - got a R1 US version by mistake - complained and they sent me the UK R2 version - never asked for the R1 set back!

The Far East is the home (along with Eastern Europe) of DVD piracy.......

Oh indeed, but I should add there has never been any claim or suspicion CDWow have ever been involved in or connected with such practises.
